January first is a holy day (of obligation) dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. Our Church in all of its beauty and intention and perfectly mapped out Liturgical Year-invites us take a Holy Pause to look to Our Blessed Mother-the Mother of God. The mother of the Messiah!
