Living LIT exists to help Catholic families live in the Truth of our faith and shine the Light of Christ from the heart of the home. The Church has long recognized the family as the Domestic Church—a sacred place where faith is planted, nurtured, and passed on. As St. John Chrysostom said, “For indeed, the household is a little church.” Through Liturgical Living—praying with the Church, celebrating the seasons of grace, and honoring feast days in ordinary family life—we bring the rhythm of the Church into our kitchens, living rooms, and hearts. This way of life strengthens families and breathes beauty and meaning into everyday moments. And from this living, liturgical love within the home, the light of Christ spills out into our neighborhoods, parishes, and the world. Living LIT is about helping you live the Truth joyfully, intentionally, and liturgically—in the little church you call home.

What is Liturgical Living?

Living Liturgically means aligning our daily lives with the rhythms, feasts, fasting, and seasons special days of the Catholic liturgical calendar. This way of life invites Catholics to move beyond simply attending Mass on Sundays and Holy Days, and inviting the grace and richness of the Church’s liturgical seasons into their homes (our Domestic Churches), hearts, and everyday routines. Rooted in the celebration of Christ’s life, ministry, death, and resurrection, (as well as other opportunities to take a “Holy Pause” in our life for other noteworthy times in our Faith life) the liturgical year offers a spiritual roadmap to bringing the Faith alive in your Home.
